Unique Student Identifier (USI)
PLEASE NOTE: All Students will be required to provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) before enrolment can be completed.
It is a requirement that all enrolment documentation is received before enrolment confirmation can occur. A USI number can be gained via accessing www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi. Without a USI you will not be able to complete your enrolment, get your qualification or statement of attainment and/or receive any potential government financial assistance.

What you need to access QMTS Training courses
As students will undertake training in the use of our student portal you will require basic computer skills to complete the course without disadvantage.
Free Wi-Fi is available during in class training at no cost.
Technology
As some of the resources are contained in a dedicated learner portal, a student must have access to a computer (with Microsoft Office software).
Students will need to bring a laptop to class with them as they will need to be able to access their student learner portal throughout their classroom training and assessments.
Maritime Courses
You will need your own laptop or iPad with Microsoft Office software loaded onto it to access course resources.
Students enrolled in Maritime Courses will be required to possess Navigational instruments for chart work, including a Chart Plotter, Parallel Ruler, Bow Divider, Calculator, 2B pencils, Eraser, Compass and Protractor.
Navigational Charts relative to your enrolled course units and Sea Time Task Order Book are available upon request. Some of the above items are available through the QMTS Training Book Shop.
Outdoor Recreation & Hospitality Courses
A student must have access to a computer (with Microsoft Office software).

There is no additional costs incurred for the re-issue of lost or replacement certificates or statements of attainment.
COMPLAINTS and APPEALS FORMS

Payment Terms and Conditions
- Course fees must be paid before students are given access to the student portal.
- Course fees can be invoiced with payment made via EFT or made over the phone using a Credit Card with receipt of payments sent via email.
PLEASE NOTE:
Should you meet the eligibility criteria for any of our approved Skills Assure Supplier Queensland Government subsidised funded programs your course fees:
- will vary based on your chosen qualification;
- the type of subsided funding which is granted;
- as well as other criteria eg;
- if you hold a Government Health Care Card
- are eligible to receive a concessional rate (eg. Disability or are Indigenous).
- or are granted additional funding (eg. Back to Work C3G Boost Funding).

Quality and Compliance
QMTS Training is the RTO responsible for the quality and compliance of the nationally recognised training being delivered and is also the RTO that will issue any qualification or statement of attainment certificate to eligible learners.
